Mister Black
Mister Black, formerly known as DJ Figure 8 is Brandon Black, founder and owner of Cruise Control Records based out of the U.S. He is also one of the youngest electronic dance music producers in the United States.
After spending several months in early 2006 learning the ways of studio production and the full-power psytrance sound - Mister Black has taken off into another direction with psytrance, and has put together the idea of ``PsyBreaks`` - a genre of a broken beat and full-power psytrance bassline.
October 2008 was the first release date on Cruise Control Records, a Various Artists compilation masterpiece with some of the most talented artists from around the world. Brandon is taking the knowledge, love, passion and sounds of music to a completely different level by taking the concepts of different genres and putting them together to create new sounds that are unheard of and new to the dance floor
With a complete ``PsyBreaks`` Album in the process of being completed, and a full-power psytrance album that is near complete, Mister Black also spends his time in the studio writing his 2nd passion, Electro House with influences from ``Penta`s`` new electro house project ``Azorsky`` ... By summer of 2009, Mister Black will have 3 full live pa`s of different genres including PsyTrance, PsyBreaks, and Electro House.
Brandon has also taken a very respected/popular female DJ under his wing to teach every aspect of music production and sound manipulation to this bright, intelligent mind to assure more quality music and sound to the dancefloors world-wide, more information regarding this project soon!
